Your support of our family farm helps to maintain our area’s rural character and preserve open space. We plant, mow, water, and trim the trees year round. Our management practices incorporate drip irrigation to reduce water use; mixed age and species planting to minimize disease and pest losses (we do not use insecticide or pesticide on the trees); Cover crops in the rows between the trees to encourage beneficial insect predators; and wood chips around the trees to help maintain soil moisture and reduce weed growth. We live on the farm along with cows, sheep, raccoons, deer (lots of deer), red foxes, and a large variety of birds including turkeys, hawks and quail. Chances are great that you will get to see some of our beloved wildlife.
We are committed to sustainability and land preservation for our community and future generations.
